How fees work
Plain answers on paying for care, before you book.
Insurance we work with
We bill most PPO plans and some employer plans. What a plan pays for chiropractic visits differs from plan to plan, so we check yours first. Medicare has its own box below.

Ask us about yours
If you pay yourself
If you are not using insurance, the front desk gives you our fee list, and Dr. Masri names the fee for each part of your visit before it happens. Your written care plan lists what each visit includes, so you know the cost before you agree to it.
Receipts for reimbursement
After each visit we can print an itemized receipt. If your plan reimburses out-of-network care, you can send it in, and the plan decides what it pays.
An estimate in advance
If you do not use insurance, you have the right to a Good Faith Estimate. We give you a written estimate in advance, before your first visit, and answer your questions about it.
Checking your benefits
Our front desk checks your benefits before your first visit and calls you with what they find, including any copay or deductible. If two plans cover your household, bring both cards and we check how they work together.
What the first visit includes
The first visit takes about 90 minutes. Follow-up visits are shorter, and weekday visits run until 6 p.m.

Care only if you agree
Need to change a visit? Call us at least a day ahead when you can. Ask the front desk about our cancellation policy.
- Medicare. Medicare Part B covers one thing from a chiropractor: manual manipulation of the spine, when it is medically necessary. It does not cover exams, x-rays, massage or exercise care. For covered care you pay 20 percent after your Part B deductible. If we expect Medicare not to pay for something, we tell you first and ask you to sign an Advance Beneficiary Notice (ABN).
